Hello everyone! This is our first release of Voidsinger. We are excited to bring you this prototype for Voidsinger. Keep in mind that this version is primarily for playtesting purposes and will not be playable for most people.

Here is a list of features this version included:

• Edit your ship to build your ideal fighting machine.
• Fly your ship around a procedural Galaxy.
• Play thousands of unique Voidsongs to affect the world around you.
• Fight enemies to gain resources build your ship bigger and fuel your conquest.
• And loads of bugs.

Here is a list of features this version does *NOT* include:

• A tutorial.
• Tooltips.
• Good 2D art.
• Variety in procedural generation.
• Proper progression.

What's Next?

Our next update (planned for release in late January) will add a tutorial and tooltips with the aim of making the game playable for those not in the same room as one of us.  The next update (planned for release in 2022 Q1) will likely add an improved build UI and ship-on-ship collision. And hopefully, by summer we will have added an exploration and progression system to the game.
